The Brits may not be celebrating with turkey this week, but Netusability, a London-based provider of customer experience management technology and services, raised $4 million in its Series A round of funding, VentureWire learned. Past lead investor, eVerger, also led this round and was the sole investor. <br<<br<VentureWire also reported that private equity firm Murphy & Partners is in the process of raising a third fund targeted for $125 million. The fund will invest in companies involved in the healthcare services, media, communications, and education sectors. If the luck of the Irish holds true, Murphy expects to have a first close by the end of first quarter or the beginning of second quarter 2002.<br<<br<Optovation also had a reason to give thanks. The developer of advanced fiber optical modules said it raised $20 million in its Series B round of financing co-led by new investors, Altamira Investment Services and Newbury Ventures.
