Mr. Collins had joined the company last year as vice president of operations; prior to RLX, he served as vice president of supply-chain management for Dell Computer in Europe and vice president of enterprise systems procurement at Dell. Michael Swavely, formerly president and chief operating officer, left the company last week. A spokesperson also said the company is also looking for a CEO. Gary Stimac, chairman and CEO, will step down from CEO when a permanent replacement is appointed. In August the company laid off 17% of its staff, or 20 employees, citing a slow market for IT products.
