You and your colleagues are invited to attend this unique discussion
about the increasing importance of Canada's energy-rich provinces to
North American energy supply and security. Featured speakers include
Alberta Energy Minister Murray Smith, British Columbia Minister of
Energy & Mines Richard Neufeld, and several senior executives of U.S.
and Canadian energy firms with substantial stakes in Canada's top energy
plays, including the MacKenzie Delta, Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin
and Atlantic Canada offshore. Dr. Michelle Michot Foss, Director of the
Energy Institute of the University of Houston, will facilitate
discussion in a highly interactive town hall format designed to
encourage audience participation.

The Energy Town Hall session is one of several energy-related activities
now planned as a part of Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chretien's
upcoming Trade Team Canada West Mission to Dallas on Wednesday, November
28th.
In addition to the Prime Minister, the Premiers of Canada's energy-rich
western provinces, including the Honorable Ralph Klein, Premier of
Alberta, and the Honorable Gordon Campbell, Premier of British Colombia,
will attend. Trade Team Canada events on Nov.28 include the Team Canada
Luncheon, featuring the Prime Minister as keynote speaker and Texas
Governor Perry as special guest, and an evening Team Canada Business
Reception.
