Palladium Futures Contracts


The Exchange proposes to amend Supplement No. 1, =01&Official List of Appro=
ved=20
Refiners and Brands=018 of the Gold Futures Contract and Supplement No. 1,=
=20
=01&Official List of Approved Refiners and Brands=018 of the Silver Futures=
=20
Contract. The proposed amendments change the status of the gold and silver=
=20
brands produced by Golden West Refining Corporation Limited/Handy & Harman=
=20
Refining Group, Inc. to no longer produced by adding an asterisk (*) next t=
o=20
the brand. The Handy & Harman Refining Group gold brand and silver brand m=
ay=20
not be delisted since there are bars of silver and gold bearing this hallma=
rk=20
on deposit in Exchange Licensed Depositories.

The Exchange proposes to amend Supplement No.2, =01&Official List of Approv=
ed=20
Assayers and Assayer/Refiners=018 of the Platinum and Palladium Futures=20
Contracts. The proposed amendments delists Golden West Refining Corp.=20
Ltd/Handy & Harman Refining Group Inc as an Approved Assayer/Refiner from t=
he=20
Exchange=01,s Palladium Futures Contract and as an Approved Assayer for the=
=20
Platinum Futures Contract. There are no assay certificates issued by Handy=
&=20
Harman Refining Group for platinum or palladium in any Exchange Licensed=20
Depository nor are there any platinum or palladium bars hallmarked by Handy=
&=20
Harman Refining Group.

The proposed amendments must be approved by the Commodity Futures Trading=
=20
Commission (=01&CFTC=018) before becoming effective. The Exchange membersh=
ip will=20
be notified upon receipt of CFTC approval and the effective date of the=20
amendments.
