Change in Trading Hours for Natural Gas Futures and Options for Thursday,
October 4,
2001

The executive committee of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., today
decided to change the trading hours for its natural gas futures and options
contracts for tomorrow, October 4, so that they close at 2:30 PM instead of
2:00 PM, as previously announced.
