California Price Mitigation Plan

In an afternoon meeting today, FERC extended the price mitigation measures
for spot markets to all hours, all states in the western U.S. Click below for

the west. This follows the April 26 order to help resolve the energy crisis
in the west.

The order is effective immediately upon issue. Chair Hebert said the order
will be out late tonight or tomorrow. The order was voted out 5-0 with
concurring opinions by Breathitt, Massey and Hebert.
