For those of us still working in markets that are either not fully
liberalised, or where the incumbents still foment scepticism about liberalisation/deregulation, we are often hard pressed to be able to point to examples of benefits of liberalisation in markets other than in the "Anglo-Saxon world" (which somehow makes it inapposite to the French, the Germans, the Japanese, etc.).
