Christie, a couple of comments on the 3rd paragraph on page 11. It is up to
you to decide if it is worth correcting. I didn't know if you had a chance to make the writing better or simply correct mistakes. 1. Page 11: I was president of Houston Pipe Line and Louisiana Resources Company. The term, "Enron pipeline subsidiary" isn't real or correct. You could also restate with, head of Enron's non-regulated pipelines, head of two pipelines, head of an Enron pipeline subsidiary ; something like that. 2. Page 11: On the 5th sentence, it is mixing a couple of thoughts. I would like to add something like, (after officer,) and establishing a unified vision, 3. Page 11: typo. There needs to be an "an" in the last sentence before the word extension. [please scroll down to the end of the next message for the attachment] . The content was developed from interviews with most of you. Please review the case and let me know of any desired edits/corrections/comments as soon as possible. [One obvious correction is the spelling of Cindy Olson's last name]. We'd like to "sign off" on this within the next 2 or 3 days. Harvard professors are excited about teaching this case this coming semester. In fact, Professor Don Sull will be focusing largely on this Enron Case this semester, culminating in "Enron Day" at Harvard Business School April 26th, featuring Jeff Skilling. Also, Chris and Meg will be in Houston this Thursday, Jan. 11th, 'capping off' their work with video interviews with Ken, Jeff and Louise, which will help "bring the case to life" for the students studying it.
