Here are the definitions as I see them:


Term Definition Example
Next Day: The next Preschedule day MTW= day +1, Th=F-S, Fri= Sun, Mon (this will vary with holidays)

Balance of the week The next Preschedule day thru Sun April 4-8

Balance of the Month The next Preschedule day thru the last
calendar day of the same month April 4-April 30

24 hour grid Linear expresssion of the day 0100, 0200, 0300............2200, 2300,2400

Peak (Heavy Load Hours) The heavy use time of the day HE 0700- HE 2200, PST

HE Hour Ending For the hour of 6: 00 am to 7:00 am is HE7

Off Peak (Light Load Hours) The lower use time of the day MTWTFS= HE 1-6 AND 23-24, Sun = 1-24, Holidays = 1-24.

48 Half hour grid Linear expression of the day, divided
into 30 minute blocks 0030, 0100, 0130, 0200, 0230, 0300, 0330........ 2300, 2330, 2400

Hourly The next hour, I am not quite sure what you are after here.

Date Range The expression of deal length Deal date 4/1/01-4/30/01
