CLOROX TO WEBCAST DISCUSSION OF FIRST-QUARTER RESULTS OAKLAND, Calif., Oct. 26, 2001 - The Clorox Company (NYSE: CLX) (PSE: CLX) will host a live audio webcast on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2001, of a discussion with the investment community regarding the company's results in the fiscal first quarter ended Sept. 30, 2001, and its outlook for the second quarter of fiscal year 2002. The company will release its first-quarter results earlier that same day. The webcast, which can be accessed at www.clorox.com, will begin at 10:30 a.m. PST (1:30 p.m. EST) Nov. 1.
