Texans aren't exactly rushing into electricity deregulation, according to
state regulators.

FERC EYES POWER PRICE CAPS WESTERN STATES MEET IN BOISE WITH COMMISSION

With generating capacity pushed to the limit and a drought on the horizon
this summer in the Northwest, federal officials are predicting wholesale
energy prices will soar even higher and rolling blackouts could become
commonplace.

360-MEGAWATT MILLENNIUM POWER PLANT ACHIEVES OPERATION STATUS

PG&E National Energy Group, an affiliate of PG&E Corporation today announced
that its 360-megawatt Millennium Power plant in Charlton, Massachusetts
achieved commercial operation.

US FERC REJECTS WESTERN AREA POWER ADMINISTRATION'S BID TO SUPPLY POWER TO
DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY LAB IN NEW MEXICO

Federal regulators Thursday rejected an attempt by a U.S. nuclear weapons
laboratory in New Mexico to obtain electricity supplies from a federal power
marketing agency.
