The California Senate Appropriations Committee in a vote Wednesday passed a
bill (Senate Bill 1x 5) that would allow for $1.0265 billion to fund

SCOTTISHPOWER US UNIT GETS OREGON GRANT TO UP PRICES 3%
U.K electricity firm ScottishPower PLC (SPI) said Wednesday that its U.S.
subsidiary PacifiCorp (X.PCP) has received approval from the Oregon Public
Utility Commission for a 3% overall price increase, equivalent to $22.8
