A bill that would <b<renew the Price Anderson Act</b< is being brought to the floor of the House of Representatives. <b<The bill limits the liability for the nuclear industry in the event of a major accident</b<. Significant revisions were made to the legislation in the wake of the September 11 attacks, with the addition of amendments that would strengthen the security of America's nuclear power plants. <p<The Washington bureau will also have more reaction to the <b<FERC's new policy</b< for determining whether a company has <b<market power in the electricity industry</b<.
